Merry Go 'Round

This set piece was built for the annual kids show put on by Hope Summer Repertory Theater. It was easily transportable and could accommodate two actors using it at once. The turntable worked by using a pipe flange as an axis for rotation, and casters that rolled on a plywood base. The crossbar was welded and could be easily removed for storage. I added a lauan skirt around the circumference to hide the casters.
